Trash Terminators!

Use It Again!
Exploration Module

Welcome to the Use It Again! exploration module. Here you can learn about ways to reduce the amount of garbage we put into landfills by reusing and recycling. You can also learn about "junk art", art created by using materials that would normally be thrown away.

Did you know?

The average American throws away 1,825 pounds of trash every year?

Can you imagine how much trash will be thrown away by your town this year? It becomes obvious pretty quickly that we need to be creative and think of ways to reduce the amount of trash we throw away into our landfills.

The best way to reduce the amount of trash we place in our landfills is to throw less trash away.

You might wonder what else you can do with the trash. Follow the links below to see a few examples of how you can help reduce the amount of trash we place in our landfills each year!
