About San Juan Basin Recycling Association

 

The San Juan Basin Recycling Association (SJBRA), is a regional non-profit organization located in southwestern Colorado. Our primary purpose is to educate school children, residents, and businesses in communities throughout our region about new and existing recycling programs, as well as the benefits of these programs.

Members of our organization include the City of Durango, La Plata County, and Fort Lewis College, as well as many other municipalities, county, state, and federal agencies and private businesses throughout the five-county area that covers the San Juan Basin, from Telluride to Pagosa Springs.

 

The San Juan Basin Recycling Association is working in conjunction with area schools and municipalities to present "Trash Terminators!", a traveling educational exhibit designed to increase children's understanding of the importance of recycling, and the various industries and technologies involved in recycling.
